Anna Kate's First day to Church

We finally made it to church.  I was missing going to church and I thought it was okay to take Anna Kate.  We only stayed for Sunday School and she went to our Sunday School class with us.  I was surprised that her little dress actually fit her.  She looked so pretty and was "well behaved".  

My Spiderman

My Jacob really likes Spiderman.  He puts on his hat, gets his spiderman "doll", and does his spiderman pose and throws his "web".  Of course, we as his parents, think it is adorable and soooo cute!!!

Father's Day

Here is my wonderful husband and VERY, VERY proud Daddy.  If you look closely you can see that Jacob and Michael are kind of dressed alike (blue and white shirts and navy pants).  Michael picked those outfits himself.  It's nice that he likes to be dressed like his 2 1/2 year old (sometimes).

While I was on the computer tonight, Jacob was sitting on my lap, so I thought we would have some fun.  He picked out the different effects of the pictures.  He could've done that all night, but I stopped the process.  As you can tell, I was not dressed for pics.  But we had fun (at least he did), and that's what matters.

We've been busy!

So, we've been pretty busy at our house the last couple of weeks.  We welcomed the newest addition to our family on May 19 at 10:10 a.m. , Anna Katherine.  She weighed 6 lbs. 9.7 ounces and was 18 inches long.  Jacob loves his baby sister.  He likes giving her hugs and kisses.  Anna Kate is a pretty laid back baby.  She cries when she is hungry and when she wants a dry diaper.  

I am recovering well from my surgery and am starting to feel human again.
